Goodrich UMC has partnered with the Scouts of America for decades. The local Chapter calls GUMC “Home” and actively utilizes our facility for weekly meetings and ongoing programming. The Scouts provide a great educational program for youth and young adults to build character, to train in the responsibilities of participating citizenship, and to develop personal fitness.

The Mid-Michigan Therapy Dogs is based in Goodrich and has used our facilities to train dog handlers and their dogs for many years. Once trained, therapy dogs visit hospitals, special needs centers, schools, assisted living homes, and airports (in joint effort with the Patriot Guard) … bring unconditional love and smiles to people, young and old alike.

Goodrich UMC has been the home for The Breakie Bunch Learning Center for several years. They provide quality care and well-rounded early childhood education to children 6 weeks to 12 years of age.
