Community Partners
GUMC has partnered with many local community organizations that align with our core values. We feel this is a great way to support local organizations and reach into the community in a meaningful way.
SCOUTS OF AMERICA - Goodrich UMC has partnered with the Scouts of America for decades. The local Chapter actively utilizes our facility for weekly meetings and ongoing programming. The Scouts provide a great educational program for youth and young adults to build character, to train in the responsibilities of participating citizenship, and to develop personal fitness.
MID-MICHIGAN THERAPY DOGS - The Mid-Michigan Therapy Dogs is based in Goodrich and has used our facilities to train dog handlers and their dogs for many years. Once trained, therapy dogs visit hospitals, special needs centers, schools, assisted living homes, and airports (in joint effort with the Patriot Guard) … bring unconditional love and smiles to people, young and old alike.
GOODRICH SOCCER CLUB - We have partnered with our local soccer club for years. They use our fields for youth soccer in the Spring and Fall and often meet in our facility
GOODRICH SCHOOLS - GUMC is a close partner with the school ... from sport teams using our facilities for practice, to fundraisers, to music performances
THE BREAKIE BUNCH LEARNING CENTER - We have been the home for The Breakie Bunch Learning Center for several years. They provide quality care and well-rounded early childhood education to children 6 weeks to 12 years of age.
GOODRICH LIONS CLUB - We partner with the Goodrich Lions Club on many initiatives throughout the year ... and many are or have been members of this excellent local organization.

We are passionate about showing you who Jesus is. Whether it is in our own neighborhood or across the globe, we can tangibly express God’s love for humanity through our weekly activities, outreach projects and missions.
